Responsibilities:

PRODUCT OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirements - capturing, refining, prioritising, delivering and communicating business requirements to key stakeholders
  • Roadmap Prioritisation - providing clear direction to Technology teams (BA, Engineering, QA) on feature prioritisation to maximise business value and resource utilisation
  • Negotiation - adeptly managing smart trade-offs of feature development vs time-to-market
  • Stakeholder Management - ensuring Product Roadmap aligns to senior stakeholder priorities, managing expectations in line with resource capacity, and providing creative solutions to solve business problems
  • Project Management - owning the end to end delivery of the assigned Product areas, managing the required resources (internal and external), tasks, dependencies & milestones from design to Production implementation
  • Business Process Mapping - documenting complex business processes and communicating in a clear and concise way to key stakeholders (Business and Technical) to ensure a common understanding of the underlying problem before defining solutions
  • Communication - clearly articulating the vision, milestones & value of the assigned Product Roadmap areas to multiple levels, both to internal and external audiences
  • Strategy - contributing to the wider DigiHaul business strategy by suggesting directional changes, new capabilities and technological innovations to improve the product & customer experience
  • Quality & Testing - ultimately accountable for the quality of the assigned Product areas, ensuring robust testing is executed for all features & that defects are prioritised & delivered to resolve business-impacting issues
