Qualified Candidates Need:

• 3-7 years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience for an Automotive solutions company specializing in SaaS-based products is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a job in the Automotive Industry preferred
• BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the software product development life cycle
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies preferred
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skill

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Product Owner is responsible for planning and setting of development team priorities, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product.
The Product Owner will work closely with the Product Manager throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, refining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner
• Manage multiple products across multiple Scrum product development teams
• Refine and maintain product vision / tactical roadmap / growth opportunities
• User Experience Expert
• Plan and prioritize product feature Backlog to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
• Create / Groom / Prioritize Backlog / Iteration planning
• Clear Acceptance Criteria
• Set Sprint Goals
• Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments
• Participate in all Scrum Ceremonies
• Refine development methodology based on results and stakeholder feedback
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
• Communicate/Participate in Scrum Ceremonies including sharing project progress and roadmap milestones in Sprint Reviews
• Present product development progress and roadmap initiatives to company stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Management on product design, strategy, development requirements, release process, and product roadmap
• Collaborate with Product Management on market trends, analyze impacts and adjust product roadmap as applicable
• Collaborate with Product Manager on beta testing of new products and features
• Assist in the creation and management of development team KPIs
• Assist in the creation and management of project management best practices
