JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are interested in Journey Product Ownership and Credit card Management experience in one package, this role can be right for you.
This Product Owner will lead Servicing Pod within MBNA Regulatory & Servicing Product Group reporting into a Product Group Owner

Accountabilities of a successful Product Owner will include:

  • Lead MBNA servicing Pod responsible for enhancing customer experience and process across MBNA CC products
  • Own MBNA Servicing enhancements roadmap
  • Supporting customer enhancements initiatives for MBNA portfolios
  • Deliver on complex and highly sensitive servicing projects within budget, scope, and timelines.
  • Added French language expertise, able to review and interpret complex credit card disclosures and collateral including legal content.
  • Identify top opportunities and lead /drive implementation with operations and platform (TS) partners.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business growth & value within scope of servicing initiatives.
  • Deliver against top priority features and drive improvement of MBNAN OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
  • Play an active role in the Pod cadences / activities following the NEW (New Evolution of Work) framework.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to establish productive working arrangements.
  • Provide thought leadership and keep current on emerging trends/ developments to help anticipate and better meet customer needs
  • Actively participate in solutioning for complex business and operational problems, providing business, financial, consumer, and regulatory perspective to the table
  • Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in ever changing servicing space, keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business

MBNA Journey team is looking for talented and self-motivated individuals to work in a high-impact TD Scaled Agile environment where they are empowered to create customer-centric product solutions and inspired to exceed expectations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business / accounting / finance, computer science, math or engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience. Credit Card / Financial Service industry experience would be preferred.
  • Proven leadership and relationship management skills
  • Critical thinking and ability to deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus, French is a plus.
  • Proven financial analysis skills, including ability to draw appropriate conclusions from large amount of data.
  • Project delivery experience and business acumen
  • Flexibility to adapt and manage within a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • TD Scaled Agile / NEW experience would be an asset.
  • Effective working independently and in teams
