ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Owner with previous experience in driving product innovation to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers and market demands. The candidate should have some experience in utilising AI/ML to build commercial products.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a product owner or similar role, working closely with development teams
  • Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning, and any related technologies
  • Proven experience working within Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to analyse data, market trends, and user feedback to make informed data-driven product decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product requirements and updates
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at various levels
  • Proactive and innovative problem-solving abilities
  • Basic understanding of software development and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a cross-functional team
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with two days per week in the office
  • Understanding of SaaS product offerings

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles
  • Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Create, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product strategy and stakeholders’ requirements
  • Define and document user stories and requirements, ensuring they are well-understood by the development team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and development teams, to gather and refine product requirements
  • Working closely with a cross-business team, UX, and Head of Product, conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
  • Work closely with the Agile development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product features and improvements, providing forecasted dates based on identified velocities
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement and optimisation, while tracking product usage to decide when to EOL unused capabilities
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with all stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
  • Positively influence the team to engage and deliver impactful capabilities
