The Digital Data Platforms team are a key part of the bank’s global data ecosystem and run several key services and marketing technology that allows the bank to create brilliant customer experiences and drive growth across WPB. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Product Owner – Marketing Technology.

In this role you will:

  • Be accountable for making, and keeping, the product a success
  • Responsible for the product vision and conveying that vision to other teams
  • Day to day product management and first line support for product queries
  • Implement a scalable adoption framework across regions and markets, and partner with them to use rich first party data to create new services that improve customer experience and drive innovative acquisition strategies
  • Be aware of related industry trends, distilling this knowledge to share with the wider team and using it to drive product direction
  • Manage the promotion and communication of the product roadmap and successes to the wider organisation
  • Maintain and manage communication with business stakeholders, resolving conflicting priorities
  • Collaborate with the team to showcase the product to stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and management of Web Analytics solutions
  • Deep understanding of Marketing strategies such as customer segmentation and personalization, their differences, and how they can combine.
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Smart thinker, innovator, with a desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Extensive experience with Martech (marketing technology) such as CDP, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Tealium, Google Analytics, BQ and Looker
  • Experience in product ownership, ideally a mix of vendor managed, and in-house solutions would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding and/or experience of Agile principles.
  • An interest in continual improvement of systems, processes & outputs
  • Technically astute with the ability to translate potentially complex, ambiguous problems into easy to consume narratives.

This is a hybrid working role with the base location as Sheffield. The successful candidate will be required to commute to this location.
