Let’s talk about this role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As the Product Owner, you will support nib’s Health Management Programs and Strategy in partnership with Honeysuckle Health to deliver targeted programs and services to our members at risk or with chronic disease.
You will be responsible for working with a number of teams to research, design, determine requirements and implement solutions addressing business needs and opportunities in line with nib’s vision to move from “payer” to “health partner”. The role involves managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to implement health management solutions, support delivery of the programs to our members and how to optimize and increase leads into our programs.
The Product Owner is responsible for the conceptual and technical integrity of product and its features, maximizing the value produced from the product and delivery and ongoing maintenance of existing products.
Let’s talk about you
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as either a Product Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, Technical Product Owner (or similar). You are an advocate for a product-based mindset, customer centricity and using data-driven insights.
You’re able to manage a number of teams internally and externally to deliver products and services aligned to business strategy and goals.

Furthermore, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in the research, design and implementation of new products to markets
  • Sound commercial judgement
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Agile product management and delivery work practices
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Experience with gathering and eliciting requirements using a range of techniques and methods
