Description:

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent almost a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War; and we’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!
As a forward thinking and innovative studio we are always looking for new technologies and techniques to develop and use in our games and make them even more engaging experiences for our customers.
We are excited to continue to grow our team and are always on the lookout for highly talented and motivated individuals, who are passionate about gaming and excited to join us on our ambitious journey!

Responsibilities:

We are now seeking a highly motivated and versatile Product Owner to become the ‘go-to’ subject matter expert in relation to the studio’s core technology. In this role you will be a key member of our core technology Scrum team; working with technical leads to investigate and decide on engineering solutions.
Taking ownership of the product backlog and product roadmap, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop goals before communicating to them clearly to the team through sprint-sized deliverables.
You will define requirements around our software technologies and tools for a high-profile, high-end cross-platform game, helping to shape and define what success of the product looks like. You will then get the opportunity to present our exciting work to customers during spring reviews.
About you:
Possessing excellent organisation and process management skills, you will have the ability to communicate clearly, as well as influence and build team cohesion and morale; scheduling and hosting regular syncs and roadmap reviews, with confidence in presenting to both the immediate and wider team.
On top of this, you will also have experience of working in an Agile environment, with the ability to demonstrate excellence in defining product requirements though Sprint Goals, User Stories/Epics and Acceptance Criteria.
