KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Extensive Product Owner experience for Salesforce products (Financial Services Cloud and Marketing Cloud).
- Senior leader level technical team leadership.
- Proven experience in product management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and emerging trends in fintech.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Mentor the cross functional team in uplifting their capability around capturing user stories and requirements from customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Product Owner or other delivery certifications will be highly regarded.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Product Owner, CRM & Marketing Platforms will deliver and support of customer-centric platforms by engaging with internal and external stakeholders to provide strong product leadership and coaching to the team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy Development: In consultation with the relevant business owners, develop and articulate a clear CRM & Marketing product strategy aligned with the bank’s overall vision, goals, and the vendor’s product roadmap. Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to continuously refine and enhance the product roadmap.
- Product Leadership: Work with the cross-functional team, providing mentorship and support to ensure the successful delivery of our products. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate product vision, priorities, and progress to ensure alignment and support.
- Chairing key business engagement sessions to align on key priorities and their horizons.
- Presenting through the senior management and Steering Committees as required.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of all the product aspects, including the customer and user perspective, competitive products and our technical capabilities.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch to ongoing optimisation.
- Define product requirements, prioritise features, and manage backlog grooming and sprint planning activities through structured engagement with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with team’s business analysts and the technical team to refine the backlog, ensuring off the shelf capabilities are leveraged.
- Lead planning activities with the team, responsible for defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria and user interface design for platform and product enhancements.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, leveraging user research, feedback, and analytics to inform decision-making and drive product enhancements.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risk and maintain a strong control environment. Proactively identify risks and recommends actions to avoid, mitigate or accept risks. Promotes a sound risk culture by routinely analysing, avoiding, mitigating, or accepting risks.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimisation: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximise product value to our customers and track success of products. Analyse data and insights to identify opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with delivery leads, customer platform leaders, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of products.
