Description:

THE MISSION

As the Product Manager for OroraTech’s Fire Spread Product, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of a young, high-potential product in its early stages. You’ll drive its development and strategic growth, ensuring it evolves into a key solution for wildfire prediction and management. We’re seeking a self-motivated, innovative thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited about leveraging space-based technology and AI for real-world impact. This is a full-time position based in Munich, offering the chance to make a lasting contribution to wildfire management.

RELEVANT SKILLS

  • Product Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years in full-time product management, focusing on customer-facing products and collaborating with technical, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Agile & SaaS Environment Expertise: Proven experience in an agile, high-growth environment (preferably SaaS) with a demonstrated ability to drive product growth in a B2B context.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into meaningful product improvements.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: A structured, analytical mindset with a track record of turning data into actionable insights to enhance product performance.

Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of breaking down complex issues into clear, actionable steps for stakeholders.

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of product strategy, developing a long-term roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the product discovery process through deep user research and testing to uncover insights that shape product direction.
  • Drive product-market fit by balancing customer feedback, market trends, and business requirements, becoming the customer’s strongest advocate.
  • Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the design and development teams focus on the most impactful tasks to meet strategic objectives.
  • Utilize data analysis and experimentation to identify areas for improvement, iterating on features to enhance the user experience.
  • Oversee feature launches from development through to post-release adoption, ensuring seamless rollouts and gathering user feedback.
  • Act as a bridge between Tech, UX, and Commercial teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to product development.
