Description:

To drive customer satisfaction and support the Group ambitions in moving from legacy security and comfort solutions towards integrated energy solutions for buildings, we have created our new Team CSS (Connected Systems and Software) in our Solution Development Marketing department.
As a Product Portfolio Director (m/f/d), you will report to the Group Strategic Solution Marketing Senior Director in the Strategic Solution Marketing department.
The position is based in Obernai, Saverne, Paris or Blieskastel.
We are looking for a Product Portfolio Director (m/f/d) who will be accountable for integrated digital solutions including apps and smart products by leveraging his/her E2E accountability from need/idea to market launch through the system lifecycle to end-of-life.
Responsibilities:
- Takeover of the global product portfolio Connected Systems & Software and lead its Product Management team, being accountable for the success and profitability in implementing common financial and non-financial goals and mastering “product marketing” as a customer-centric approach
- Orchestrate and motivate the cross-functional team managing and developing the portfolio with the goal of implementing a high-performance organization and performance-oriented culture. Set priorities and actively support the change process.
- Develop a mid-term holistic portfolio strategy for the expansion of the business in line with group strategy and pivotal market area needs. Define and manage the connectivity roadmap, integrating customer, product and solution requirements, as well as standards, regulations and technological evolutions
- Define and implement group standards for the connectivity layers from standard field bus, protocol definition, gateways, cloud-to-cloud connectivity to UID and app strategy, taking into account Data privacy & Cyber security Hager Group rules
- Create a unique customer experience via reworking the current products and creating space for new innovative products and services which sets industry benchmark and laying foundation also for recurrent revenues
- Monitor the product lifecycle, prioritize and decide on all development requirements and define and deliver the specific portfolio on time and reliably
- Initiate, support and monitor local sales activities to achieve common business goals and orchestrate the portfolio’s activities with all adjacent functional areas
- Represent the Global Portfolio Connected Systems & Software in the Hager Group governance decision and executive boards
