SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing financial products.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and target audience.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Data-driven approach with a strong understanding of marketing analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

The Product Positioning Senior Manager will be responsible for developing product positioning campaigns that highlight unique value propositions of the new D&A product offerings. This individual will integrate marketing content throughout the product lifecycle in collaboration with various LSEG teams, and support the LSEG marketing and product teams in creation of content (including white papers, FAQs, videos, demos and other collateral) to effectively communicate our products’ value proposition. The Product Positioning Senior Manager will track metrics to measure and optimize positioning execution. Working closely with product development, customer strategy, marketing and communications, risk and compliance and legal, this role ensures that the dependencies to deliver products into the hands of our customers is cohesively aligned with our product launch plans, embodying our value propositions.
Key responsibilities include:
Execute on product positioning strategies that highlight unique value propositions of LSEG offerings. Integrate product marketing content throughout the product lifecycle in collaboration with customer strategy, marketing and communications teams. Refine thorough audience segmentation and utilise the Value Proposition Canvas approach to explain key target user and buyer personas. Contribute to a content library, which includes white papers, FAQs, videos, and other collateral, in collaboration with customer strategy and corporate marketing, to effectively communicate the value proposition of the products. Partner with sales, customer strategy, customer success, commercial strategy and marketing to harness VOC and telemetry data, and agree metrics that effectively measure new product positioning effectiveness and inform product, GTM and marketing strategies. Collaborate with product teams to gather insights and understand the features, benefits, and differentiators of the products, to effectively position and message them in the market. Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product development and marketing strategies.
