About the role
The Product Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in driving innovations and maintaining high-quality standards in product development. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong quality mindset, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is your new job

  • Responsible for product qualification for ssMOS products
  • Responsible for implementation of quality procedures & quality standards (Nexperia, AEC and customer specific) in development and industrial projects
  • Responsible to identify and address quality gaps in product creation process
  • Define qualification requirements & support qualification of manufacturing processes
  • Documentation and handling of data in analysis tools and evaluation with regard to Reliability, Yield, FMEA, Customer requests, etc.
  • Activities to identify root causes for production problems as well as the implementation of containment and corrective actions, along with establishing risks assessment and recommendations
  • Support customer requests and complaint handling
  • Responsible for creation of the initial input for PCNs, review and issue, and support follow up activities

This is you

  • Ideally a Master’s degree in physics or electrical engineering
  • Experience in a similar position is a plus; experienced in wafer fab and assembly processes preferred
  • Knowledge in semiconductor physics as well as in semiconductor applications, preferably for Small Signal MOSFETs
  • Knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101, JEDEC
  • Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
  • Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques, such as 8D
  • High quality mindset
  • Fluent spoken and written German skills, Excellent English language skills both spoken and written
  • Strong know how in statistical data analysis, i.e. Weibull analysis
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player and willingness to travel
