Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Product Receiver will play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming products are received, inspected, and accounted for accurately. This position requires an understanding of FMCG operations and a solid grounding in accounting principles to maintain accurate inventory records and manage discrepancies effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in product receiving or inventory management within the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Goods: Efficiently manage the receiving process of all incoming products. Verify quantities and inspect goods for damages or discrepancies against purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all received products in the inventory management system. Ensure proper labeling and storage of products as per company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Vendors: Communicate with suppliers regarding any discrepancies or issues related to received orders. Resolve issues promptly to maintain supply chain effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of incoming shipments, including delivery receipts, invoices, and inspection reports for accounting purposes.
  • Stock Accuracy: Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure alignment between physical stock and inventory records.
  • Computer Proficiency: Utilize computer software and systems for tracking inventory levels, processing receipts, and generating reports. Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems is essential.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that receiving and storage areas are organized, clean, and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations.
