BGS is seeking an Experienced F-15E Electrical Modification Technician to support the F-15 MUOS/Saturn Program at Mountain Home AFB ID.

  Candidates will be required to attend and pass training classes. This is a contingency for this assignment
  Education: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years’ related work, Bachelor, etc.).

This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $37.65/hour - $41.84/hour

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
• Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses.
• Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.
• Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
• Usage of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.
• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading electrical/avionics components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.
• Fabricates and modifies electrical systems according to specifications.
• Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of an aircraft structure
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.

WHAT ARE THE TOP 3-5 SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE/JOB?:

• Minimum of 3 years’ with any military aircraft maintenance
• Minimum of 3 years’ with retrofit or modification programs
• Experience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components or avionics boxes

WHAT ARE THE TOP 3-5 SKILLS PREFERRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE/JOB?:

• Experience with F-15 or similar platform
• General Mechanic experience desirable
