Description:
Product Solution Specialist – Rotating Indexable Europe (flexible location).
Sandvik Coromant is now creating a whole new team of Product Solution Specialists (2 positions) within the Rotating Indexable Product Area to shape the Offer Implementation Rotating Indexable products department in the regions of north, south and central Europe. We’re looking for a well-balanced team, to work in various locations throughout Europe and complement each other in all aspects of business, all while having the eagerness to share ideas and cooperate with one another!
With the ultimate goal of securing a presence in key markets, you get to travel both domestically and internationally to many of our Sandvik Coromant customers and sites. The Product Solution Specialist roles are located in Europe (preferable Germany / Central Europe).
By joining the Offer Implementation department
You work in a distributed team to achieve quick and proactive problem-solving, creating customer value and profitable business results. Together in the team you take ownership to grow the business for Rotating Indexable, applying customer, market and industry segment perspectives. Team purpose and responsibilities
Your main purpose as a team is to improve on sales and the overall business growth, and furthermore align the Product Area strategy with Sales Execution, as well as enable closure of prioritized deals and secure competences in Sales around the Product Area’s offer.
Within the team, your responsibilities are to:
- Collaborate with Front Line Sales in converting prioritized sales pipelines to orders by assessing business opportunity and promote solutions
- Co-develop and execute tactics for local business plan together with sales clusters
- Proactively train Front Line Sales and provide technical know-how to customers in order to ensure high sales efficiency
- Ensure high quality opportunity management with focus on growth (customer mapping and sales readiness) Ensure high quality opportunity management by being active both in qualification of and in execution of growth opportunities
- Lead replicate success for the product offering (transfer success cases, share best practices)
- Analyze sales team performance and together with Sales Cluster Managers recommend corrective actions
- Provide product and application solution support to front line sales, projects and customers
- Carry out high quality field tests and market preparation tests for new product development projects
- Support prioritized customer events
- Assist market research programs and competitor investigations
What we need from you and your teammates
Together with your colleagues, you complement each other by possessing different qualities and capabilities, which means that you don’t necessarily need to tick all the boxes in order to be successful in this role. With this in mind, we are looking for:
- individuals with strong product and application knowledge in the Rotating Indexable area
- Individuals being in the forefront of modern machining techniques, methods and software
- Individuals with backgrounds and experience from working with different customer types (mass, batch, advanced) and in different industries (Aero, Auto, Small Part Machining or Medical)
- Individuals with experience from performing field tests connected to grades, geometries and concepts.
- Corporate language is English, in the team also German, Polish, Italian, French and Swedish language skills are needed
As a professional you have excellent product and application knowledge, are skilled in developing machining strategies and have a business mindset. You’re an effective communicator with marketing savviness and adequate problem-solving skills as well as an ability to be creative and flexible, always with the customers’ needs in focus.
