As a Product Specialist for Consumer Health Insurance, you will be the go-to expert, Identifying improvements and innovation across our product portfolio. Your insights will help us enhance the customer experience, streamline our processes, and create health insurance solutions that are simple, relevant, and personalised for every customer.
In this role, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to implement product changes and ensure that Bupa stays ahead of the curve. Whether it’s supporting compliance updates, launching new initiatives, or refining our existing offerings, you’ll make a direct impact on how we deliver value to our customers. Reporting to the Product and Portfolio Management function, you’ll also collaborate with the product delivery team to ensure successful execution of major initiatives like PHIS updates and rate changes.
This full-time, permanent role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Perth. Plus, with Bupa’s flexible hybrid working arrangements, you’ll have the option to work from home or the office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert product guidance to the product team, DRP, and the broader business.
- Support all aspects of product development and delivery, including competitor analysis, product design, benefits , coverage, and customer experience.
- Assist in the development and implementation of product strategy, particularly around compliance and regulatory initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CVP Manager and Product Managers to present recommendations to key stakeholders, including ELT papers.
- Manage both internal and externally-facingproduct-related artefacts across the business.
- Conduct competitive analysis and develop strategic responses to enhance Bupa’s competitive positioning,
- Monitor and track customer and performance metrics, developing response plans to meet or exceed annual operating plans (AOP)
