POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Product Specialist with a background in science or engineering to work in our environmental instrumentation group. In this position, you will responsible for growing sales via strategic business development, sales management and pipeline health for the products within the Environmental Assessment portfolio covering the NSW & ACT territory. Clients include municipal councils, environmental consultants, engineers, integrators, landfill and biogas operators and many more. This role is 100% remote and requires 25-50% travel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary qualification in a scientific field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organisation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High energy, Shown experience in sales in the environmental industry is desirable
- Ability to build and champion strong customer relationships
- Strong initiative with the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly/Annual AOP and portfolio targets.
- Maintain customer database and knowledge.
- Pipeline development utilising marketing and regular face to face meetings. Attend conferences and trade shows where relevant.
- Develop strategic relationships with key customers.
- Develop and implement territory plan for account penetration.
- Develop a sound understanding of customer’s technical requirements, and provide professional and technically competent product solutions to the best suit customers.
- Periodic account reviews, Monthly/Quarterly forecasting, Salesforce CRM compliance.
- Creation and execution of personal development plan.
