Key accountabilities:
- Support Product Lifecycle and Firmware Releases for existing and future units for BBU and HBB.
- Keeping the team on track within life deliveries and firmware upgrades.
- Represent and update in relevant programme delivery meetings, in life forums and firmware scoping, testing and releases cycle.
- Setting, tracking & reporting against business goals and success metrics & managing & improving the reporting processes for the team.
- Analyse, evaluate, and overcome in life and releases risks; produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Tracking & managing in life reporting – commercial, KPIs and product performance.
- Strong analytics qualities: produce reporting update, maintenance of the programme logs and trackers continuously seeking efficiencies.
- Defines key new product features, ensuring these are aligned to the customer experience and outcomes. Working with Product Owner to ensure technical feasibility.
- Supporting where needed, rollout firmware & launch activities
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Product Specialist with demonstrable experience in product activities who can work closely with the Product Manager to support with BAU activities, product strategy, governance, roadmaps for product delivery cycles for Vodafone’s new product, Broadband Battery Backup (BBU) designed to support routers and ONT in an event of a power outage.
This role will make a vital contribution to our team, working across In-Home Connectivity, Safe & Secure, Quality & Reliability and Innovation. You’ll have the opportunity to stay abreast of market trends, across competitors, consumer behaviour and technology and be part of driving innovation within the UK and the delivery of products through our technology, commercial and go-to-market teams.
This is a unique opportunity for a Product Specialist to be part of a small (but growing) team, offering breadth and depth across several projects/initiatives and helping us to develop & deliver outstanding products of the future.
