Job Title: Product Support Engineer – Team Leader
Location: Rochester
Salary: Circa £42,000 depending on experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential

• Experience in diagnostics and repair/maintenance of electronic equipment to component level – analogue and digital circuits
• Team management / supervisory experience
• Able to manage stakeholder relationships, presentable to all levels of the business
• Worked in a regulated manufacturing environment

Desirable

• Able to confidently lead on troubleshooting activities
• Experience in working to EASA Part 145 Regulations
• Knowledge gained within a civil aviation repairs environment (CMM / SIL)

• Managing the On-Time Delivery of the Product Support Engineering Team
• Leading daily activities and responsibilities of the Product Support Engineering Team
• Building the skills and behaviours of individuals within their team
• Developing and enhancing repair diagnostic capability across the product range
• Managing interactions with airlines regarding technical enquires
• Assessing and developing equipment for modification/upgrade opportunities
• Leading activities for in the Entry into Service of New Products entering the market
• Representing BAE Systems CAS (Control Avionics Solutions) during customer meetings and technical aircraft conferences
• You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role (a team of 4 production support engineers)
