JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a remote position.
This is a remote position based out of India, where most of our team members are currently. We offer competitive pay and equity and practical benefits for your whole family. If this sounds interesting to you, read on.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS)

We do not require any formal qualifications, but we value hands-on skills. We also enjoy working with people looking to learn new things and have a sense of responsibility towards their work.

  • You have spent at least three years of experience designing modern applications with user-centric design principles.
  • You have worked on B2B SaaS applications and have a good understanding of conversational experiences.
  • You can stay on top of non-functional requirements and can build scalable design systems, responsive layouts and accessible experiences.
  • You have hands-on experience using design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or Illustrator every day to get work done.
  • You can collaborate with a team full of opinionated people and stay unbiased while presenting your ideas during brainstorming sessions.
  • You should be able to improvise and make quick design decisions while leveraging basic design principles and common sense.
  • You need to come in with a growth mindset and should push yourself to get better every day.
  • You are comfortable working with a fully remote team and can have fun working with your peers without meeting them in person.
  • You have taken the time to read and understand our cultural values. Most importantly, you are a good person, don’t act like a jerk around your teammates, and collaborate with empathy.

We’re looking for experienced individual contributors who’ve worked on large-scale products before, and we expect you to ramp up quickly and help us launch our products.

  • Design the first version of Atomicwork. You will own product experience from day one and design web and mobile experiences that will help us realize the vision of our company.
  • Drive user research programs. You will partner with product managers to do user research interviews with real-world customers and work iteratively to refine the product over time.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering: You will co-own the product roadmap with the rest of the product and engineering teams and influence what gets prioritized for upcoming quarters.
  • Present your work to the team. You will meet with the team and our customers to present user journeys and walkthroughs to help them understand how our product works end-to-end.
  • Make decisions using product analytics. You will leverage all kinds of data at your disposal to make informed decisions about user experience and product capabilities.
  • Publish best practices. If you have a passion for writing, you can publish our design practices and discoveries on our Atomicwork blog.
  • Self-direct your work and co-own the product. You will act a founder of the product and will have autonomy and responsibility to do what’s right for the customer
