Description:
Education:
- University degree in electronics, environmental sciences, mechanics, or equivalent through experience.
- A balance of interest in both technical and social/legal aspects is essential
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, such as product validation within product development.
- Proven experience in product validation and in managing processes, procedures, and quality standards
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Product Validation Group (PVG) Manager oversees the product validation team, ensuring that all test engineers are equipped with the necessary resources and tools to verify Barco products against environmental requirements. The manager ensures that products meet the required KPIs, quality standards, and comply with country-specific regulations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate PVG resources, including test strategies, internal priorities, planning, and team management (personnel and equipment).
- Oversee external resources, such as consultants, test labs, and equipment, ensuring compliance with required procedures and standards.
- Lead test execution, including status and KPI reporting, issue tracking, and creation/distribution of test reports.
- Ensure product compliance with country regulations, and manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and escalations.
- Handle audit/inspection fees for production sites, ensure lab safety, and maintain cleanliness with test room supervisors.
Education:
