REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with a specialization in Excel.
  • Previous experience in a data entry, or administrative role is highly desired.
  • Experience with ERP software is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to be responsive and have strong customer service skills when communicating with team members.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry/environment is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Production Administrator, you’ll support the manufacturing floor by performing various assigned duties of a somewhat diversified nature in connection with the preparation and issuance of production work orders to the manufacturing departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain sufficient proficiency with company ERP software to execute required tasks.
  • Maintain miscellaneous production records and produce various production reports.
  • Perform routine clerical work in accordance with specified procedures and instructions which can include:
  • Entering Customer POs
  • Entering PO Requisitions
  • Work Order Transactions
  • Sorting Jobs/Attaching Drawings
  • Maintain a check on material inventories, machine and labor capacities, and other factors pertinent to ensure an even flow of production.
  • Assist with maintaining order status records and preparing reports and summaries.
  • May assist others engaged in production department functions.
  • Assist other department supervisors regarding the shop floor.
  • Support the HR department with various administrative tasks from time to time.
