Description:

The Production Administrator role is an integral part of the smooth operation of the manufacturing process, serving as a linchpin between various departments to ensure that production schedules are met efficiently and effectively. This position involves coordinating with team members across the organization, from the production floor to upper management, to facilitate communication and streamline workflows.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Leaving Certificate, with higher-level education desirable.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is beneficial.
  • PC literate with competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and Outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate production timelines to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Liaise with suppliers to order and manage inventory of raw materials and ensure their timely delivery.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation to track progress and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet production standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to manage production budgets and control expenses.
  • Facilitate communication between production teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Complete other tasks as required by the business.
