Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting UFV’s marketing operations through supporting, and enhancing the systems that manage the department’s project workflow, as well as providing project, writing, web, and print production support to the project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in marketing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing.
- Ability to foster trusting relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail, methodical, organized, process-oriented, adaptable with a diplomatic touch.
- A natural curiosity for investigating, analyzing, and problem-solving skills.
- An appreciation of the creative process.
- Facility for team collaboration with an ability to be self-directed when required.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods and keep things moving under pressure and on tight deadlines.
- Ability to set goals, multitask, and prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of project management principles, processes, and software.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Experience with design and layout software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence.
- Ability to recognize and effectively manage confidential and personally identifiable information according to regulations and policies.
- Experience working in post-secondary institutions an asset.
- A Class 5 BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle as there will be some travel required within the Fraser Valley region.
