Job Description
Your team: The Times Literary Supplement (TLS) is the world’s leading weekly literary publication, offering a unique and comprehensive overview of the most important literary and cultural trends. For over a century, the TLS has been the trusted source for critical analysis, reviews, and in-depth commentary on literature, the arts, and intellectual life.
Your role: The Times Literary Supplement is hiring a Production Assistant, responsible forhandling the TLS every week in both its print and digital formats, from page make-up to digitization for app and web, and all associated tasks. Other duties will include picture research, assisting our specialist editors, website maintenance, and some social media activity.
This is an entry level position and full training will be given, though some experience of print production and/or websites would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have a proper understanding of the TLS , its purpose and its heritage. You will work closely with colleagues across editorial and digital, including the Editor and Deputy Editor of the paper.
