EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED, REQUIRED
• Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you interested in a new career in chocolate? Are you a chocolate covered cherry or mint fanatic? Fannie May, is now owned by Ferrero, the #2 chocolate company in North America and is looking for dedicated Line Associates to help deliver the quality that is known and loved by every Fannie May customer for over 100 years. These associates are responsible for producing quality products and meeting all company goals.
We are looking for 2nd shift: 3:15PM - 2:00AM. Monday through Friday. Saturdays are mandatory at this time, the shift is 1:15PM - 10:00PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus a .53 cent shift differential. This position involves repetitive movement and constant standing and moving for over 10 hours.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• The individual may be required to operate several pieces of equipment; including shrink and flow wrappers, candy cutters, twist wrappers, boxing and box taping equipment, scales, ect.
• Set up the line for production
• Ensuring proper quality standards are followed for all products; color, size, shape, labels are appropriate for the specific product, weight and gloss decoration, ect.
• Expected to work safely, and efficiently
• Work any assignment as directed by lead/supervisor
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems
• Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and provide guidance with compliance of regulatory audits.
