Production Associate

at  New Hope Mills Manufacturing Inc

New Hope Mills, located in Auburn, NY, and home to our well-known pancake mixes and our growing Store and Café, seeks a Production Associate to join our team. You will perform various tasks to support packing dry-mix into finished units according to specifications. We offer a positive work environment, PTO, health, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401 (k) plan. If you are responsible, reliable, and dedicated to your work, we would like to meet you! The normal work day is from 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday, but may vary according to business needs. EOE

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability in basic math ability to handle counting in production processes.
• Possess finger and hand dexterity and necessary endurance for repeated tasks.
• Perform tasks that will result in contact with some food allergens. (Company will advise)
• Ability to stand and maneuver for long periods of time.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• Maintain integrity of highly sensitive/confidential information.
• Demonstrate commitment to company values, policies and procedures.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and regularly lift objects of up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work well with colleagues in a professional & organized manner.

DESIRED SKILLS

• 2+ years of similar position experience.
• Proficiency in basic use of computers and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Machinery operation experience, especially Pallet Jack and Forklift experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing and food industry.
