Founded in 1980, SCP SCIENCE is a successful privately owned manufacturer and distributor of certified analytical equipment, supplies, reagents and certified reference materials for the inorganic analytical laboratories market.
The company has grown substantially in recent years through internal and contracted manufacturing, acquisition, and expansion of its sales distribution network around the world. Currently the company staff numbers 170 people and is continually growing.
SCP SCIENCE is currently seeking a Bottling Technician to join our Production department.
Reports to: Production Supervisor - Chemistry Department
Place of Wor k : 21800 Clark Graham Baie D’Urfé, QC H9X 4B6
Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, or 3:15 pm - 11:15 pm (Monday-Friday)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Previous work experience in chemical manufacturing not necessary but would be a plus.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Organized, enthusiastic, strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Able to work under stress.Fluent in both French and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of packaging materials.
  • Package single-element standards, multi-element standards and various other chemical finished products following the Job paperwork documents.
  • Record and sign any document to assure the traceability of work via ISO documentation of the products.
  • Assure to clean any necessary container as per requirements.
  • Monitor stock inventory in containers for packaging and finished goods.
  • Participate and play a leader role during the annual inventory counts.
  • Apply good housekeeping rules as per company policy.Other tasks as required.
