Description:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A college degree in a related field and at least 5 years experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Able to motivate and engage employees in a production environment.
- Has good experience applying Lean principles.
- Able to manage with a health and safety mindset.
- Has good human resource management skills in an unionized environment: ability to set up and motivate a team and develop good relationships with internal and external customers.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

THE ROLE WE ARE PROPOSING:
- Plan, coordinate and direct the readiness of human and material resources while meeting delivery deadlines, ensuring product quality, and delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Monitor work costs, status and quality and come up with appropriate solutions to problems.
- Manage employees and take any necessary disciplinary action in accordance with the collective agreement and human resources policies.
- Set objectives and evaluate performance.
- Lead improvement projects within the department.
- Develop, implement and enforce policies, standards and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, health, safety and profitability.
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team: define, manage and coordinate activities related to projects and to the development of CAE products.
