  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience in managing a team within a manufacturing organization is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience in semiconductor production planning and control are highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and MS Dynamics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

The Manager of Production Control is a pivotal role within our organization, seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related industry. This position is crucial in ensuring efficient production planning and control, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining seamless operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to lead a team, implement process improvements, and effectively manage ERP systems. Strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in project management are essential for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Production Planning and Control:

  • Plan and develop production schedules considering all aspects of production, including inventory management, to prevent shortages, and excesses, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor raw material procurement, inventory management, and usage control to meet business objectives.

2) Work-in-Progress (WIP) Management:

  • Oversee WIP movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations and optimize workflow.

3) Process Improvement:

  • Develop and implement process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems to enhance efficiency and meet business objectives.

4) Change Order and Customer Order Management:

  • Review change orders and ensure their proper execution to meet evolving production requirements.
  • Negotiate job orders with customers based on equipment capacity and material availability.

5) Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team to achieve department goals.

6) Problem Solving and Compliance:

  • Investigate production control issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
