Description:

EDUCATION:

Post-Secondary education required. University degree in a business or accounting related field is preferred. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

EXPERIENCE:

Background in production control/parts procurement preferred. Requires a thorough knowledge of corporate inventory and procurement systems such as CMMS, CPARS, MSIII, and other related software programs. Additionally, must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK, etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Under minimal supervision, act as a replacement for bargaining unit personnel in production control and timekeeping who are absent due to illness, vacations, etc.
  • Floater must follow all established procedures and processes, complying with all the requirements of each desk they cover.
  • Floater is responsible for file maintenance for Windsor Site Material Control when not covering a desk or completing an assignment.
  • Individuals will have a home base of Windsor Site Material Control (currently at EEP), however, will be required to cover various classifications across the Windsor Site. Home base may be moved from EEP depending on future structure/business requirements of the Windsor site.
  • Start times may vary in accordance with the postings being covered.
  • Will need to fulfil all duties effectively of the job description for the position being covered with reasonable training period provided.
  • Miscellaneous assignments to be completed as required.
