Description:

EUROAPI is a leading provider of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that was spun off from Sanofi on 6 May 2022 and listed on EURONEXT, with the aim of becoming a global champion in API solutions and CDMO.
The company has a diversified portfolio of approximately 200 active ingredients for its API Solutions business and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) activities.
With more than 150 years of experience in the API market, around 3,350 employees and a consolidated turnover of approximately 1 billion Euros in 2023, EUROAPI has six production sites and development centers equipped with state-of-the-art technology, all located in Europe (France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the United Kingdom).
To strengthen our Finance team Germany, we are looking for an experienced Production Controller (m/f/d) for our production site in Frankfurt-Höchst as soon as possible:

Description

  • You will independently and in close coordination with the respective business partners prepare the (standard) product calculations for APIs/ peptides/ oligonucleotides at the Frankfurt location and carry out cost estimates for our CDMO business as required
  • You evaluate all relevant KPIs in the area of operations, supply chain or quality management and create meaningful reports for the site (yields, added value, inventories, etc.)
  • You will carry out continuous deviation analyses based on the targets, derive recommendations for action and coordinate the implementation with the business partners
  • You will monitor the development of manufacturing costs and carry out profitability analyses for customers, products, product innovations and investments

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and analysis of production costs at the Frankfurt site
  • Perform ad-hoc and variance analyses to improve understanding of production cost trends
  • Close cooperation with operations managers and other relevant departments (Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, HSE/Engineering) to identify and implement efficiency enhancement potentials
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the site
  • Collaboration in the further development of IT systems for the digital support of controlling (SAP BW, PowerBI)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Completed (technical) university degree with a focus on business administration/accounting/industrial engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling in a production company in the industry; preferably chemical or pharmaceutical industry
  • Sound knowledge of cost accounting, production planning and control as well as process optimization
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Independence, willingness to learn and high level of commitment
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and assertiveness
