Position: Production Coordinator
Primary Location: Prince George, BC
Schedule: Full time - Monday to Friday – 40 hours work week. Overtime needed as per business needs and training objectives.
Reports to: Plant Manager
Compensation: $97,143 - $110,000 per annum
The Canadian base salary range for this position is $97,143 - $110,000 per annum+ bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary ranges for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE AND ABOUT YOU

This individual supports all aspects of Operations at the facility. As the Production Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the productivity of the Plant Manager. This is accomplished by assisting in the development, organization, and control of documents and correspondence, by facilitating and communicating the results of various meetings. You will also be required to control all aspects of traffic; both planning and auditing, procurement/accounts payable and payroll, scheduling for shift coverage of all employees in line with the plants’ needs and requirements. He/she will also ensure the satisfaction of customers by delivering products on time (working directly or indirectly with Logistics and Customer Service department). The incumbent is also responsible for managing all aspects of plant administration.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Document Controller for the facility, managing records and documents with the Document Management System and local drives.

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become familiar with Chemtrade Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  • Immediately report all EHS incidents.
  • Complete all EHS required training in a timely fashion.
  • Follow all Chemtrade facility and corporate EHS procedure and practices.
  • Attend and actively participate in facility EHS meetings and forums that will drive employee involvement.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for EHS program improvements
  • Maintains a working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements relative to the position (i.e. TDG, Responsible Care, ERAP, safety regulations, explosives act etc.).
  • Communicates with and assists railway and regulatory inspectors with regard to TDG, and regulatory requirements.
