Le coordonnateur de production est responsable de la planification de la production et de la mise à jour de celle-ci. Il fait le pont entre l’équipe de production et le directeur de production. Il travaille de pair avec le superviseur de production et ajuste la planification selon l’avancement des projets. Il participe aux activités de préproduction avec le superviseur et l’équipe d’assembleurs. Il met en place, avec le superviseur de production, des procédures de travail afin d’optimiser l’utilisation du temps et du matériel. Il chapeaute les initiatives d’amélioration continue dans l’usine en tant que promoteur, de supporteur et responsable du déploiement.

EXPERIENCES:

• 1-2 années d’expérience en planification, gestion et charge de projets.
• Technique en génie mécanique, production industrielle, dessin industriel.
• Formation sur Kaizen, 5S, Kanban et outils d’amélioration continue.
• 5-10 ans en usine et production industrielle.
• Pouvoir se débrouiller en anglais

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Leadership and initiative.
• Be autonomous and evolve under a minimum of supervision.
• Have a good team spirit and a desire to collaborate.
• Mastery of the office suite.
• Knowledge of ERP, MRP, MPS software.
• Knowledge of Autocad, Sketchup, or other drawing software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines to carry out production and purchasing.
• Ability to identify potential problems, find effective solutions, and make informed decisions to resolve problems encountered
• Makes good use of continuous improvement tools to increase production efficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and vendors to ensure effective coordination of operations.

EXPERIENCES

• 1-2 years of experience in project planning, management and management.
• Mechanical engineering techniques, industrial production, industrial design.
• Training on Kaizen, 5S, Kanban and continuous improvement tools.
• 5-10 years in factory and industrial production.
• Be able to get by in English

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to travel to the workplace from Monday to Friday 40 hours in person.
• Teleworking exceptionally.
• Respect work schedules.
• Be able to lift a load of 50 lbs.
• To be able to move around by walking over a long period of time.

EDUCATION

Required

• Secondary 5 or better

• Carry out the production starts and confirm the delivery dates.
• Keep the production schedule up to date and communicate issues with the production manager.
• Creation and sending of purchase orders for project components.
• Maintain an inventory of project components.
• Creation and sending of purchase orders for production tools and maintenance equipment or materials.
• Leads pre-production meetings 2 times a week.
• Generate interest and promote continuous improvement projects.
• Participates in and develops assembly and quality standards, and keeps documentation up to date.
• Participates and develops new working techniques.
• Optimize the cutting of material for large-scale projects.
• Develops work arrangements for large-scale projects.
• Develops technical documentation for production.
• Responsible for machine safety and manufacturing processes.
