Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post secondary education program in business or office administration, or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Proficiency with various databases including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Superior time management skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Motivated, professional and detail orientated individual who will take initiative to find ways to improve the productivity of the production department
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team environment
  • Interest in working in the technology sector would be considered an asset

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity of how to read drawings and drawing packages
  • Effective communication skills and ability to problem solve
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Asana and MS Project
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively due to timeline changes

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Kraken is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our fast-growing Production team. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment and be interested in contributing to the direction of future Kraken products. While in this role, you will report to, and work alongside the Production Planner to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks that support the Production team in their daily and weekly activities.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, located in the Kraken Headquarters in Mount Pearl, NL.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Create, maintain and close work orders in inventory software
  • Scan and file paperwork from Production builds
  • Create and monitor the progress of purchase requisitions
  • Assist with a variety of tasks as needed for the day-to-day operation of the Production department
  • Become familiar with the various Production procedures and systems
  • Experience working with inventory software would be considered an asset
  • Coordinate with shipping & receiving for outgoing shipments
  • Various tasks as required
