KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge and experience of electronic components and assembly processes
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Good manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
  • Mechanical aptitude, with ability to work with tooling/fixtures
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Assembling and/or inspecting products under a microscope

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the SMT production equipment
  • Soldering to IPC standard (through hole soldering)
  • Safely operator the Selective Soldering Machine
  • Safely operate the automated optical inspection equipment (AOI)
  • General PCBA assembly work
  • PCBA quality inspection and rework
  • Replenish supplies and components and perform job changeovers effectively
  • Check own work to ensure minimal errors
  • Log the time taken for a task against a Production Order
  • Routine area cleaning and minor maintenance activities
  • Other duties as directed by Team Leaders, Supervisors or Manager
