JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves continuous improvement of production systems, reducing downtime, and driving operational excellence across our facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality control, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and maintain manufacturing procedures, including equipment setup, machine calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production performance, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and defects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist in managing inventory and supply chain logistics to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and ensure accurate documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
