QUALIFICATIONS

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited program in Engineering from a college or university or Five years of relevant production/supply chain experience in automotive or defense industry
  • A minimum total of five years experience in production, manufacturing, and supply chain management within the DoD or Automotive Industries.
  • Experience supporting the US Army or DoD is preferred including working with/on tracked or wheeled ground combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity (operator, maintainer, logistics, acquisition, or production). User or operator.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reduce the risk of non-conformance to requirements throughout the production process.
  • Advise on the stability and completeness of system designs for production readiness.
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, tooling, test equipment, materials, and manufacturing skills are in place to meet production schedules.
  • Serve as a member of Production Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and act as a non-voting advisor to Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
  • Assess and advise on the impact of Requests for Variance (RFV) on production.
  • Update the Configuration Control Board on the status of outstanding RFVs and the number addressed by Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Perform and report on Production Reviews of assigned ECPs, including review of 2D drawing revisions and producibility enhancements.
  • Verify completeness, correctness, and traceability of changes to approved RFVs.
