Purpose:
The Production EIT will be responsible for the execution of various oil / gas related projects throughout Southeast Saskatchewan. This role will provide technical engineering support for ongoing field operations, subsurface repairs, artificial lift design and enhancements, production optimizations and new development planning within various properties. Candidates can reside in Carlyle or Weyburn, SK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to evaluate and optimize production, including identifying and implementing production optimization opportunities and managing Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) strategies
  • Collaborate with the Field Asset team to oversee area responsibilities and ensure alignment on key initiatives
  • Work with well servicing teams to review downhole failures, design artificial lift systems, and identify optimization opportunities during repair and maintenance activities
  • Evaluate facility needs for current and future capital development, while identifying candidates for production reactivation and abandonment
  • Support facility optimization initiatives and contribute to efforts aimed at reducing operating costs
  • Work with Calgary based engineers and field-based development teams to ensure wells are on production and tied in as soon as possible after drilling and completion
  • Drive innovation by leading trials for new and emerging technologies

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Engineering is required
  • Valid registration with a Professional Engineering association is required
  • Minimum 1 – 5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Highly organized individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to work at both the field and corporate level
  • Team Player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
  • Displays Positive attitude, resilience and is a role model for the group
  • Must be comfortable making presentations and facilitating meetings
