JOB SUMMARY: Works under the direction of the Production Engineering Supervisor. This requires the Engineer to have attained the knowledge and skill required for the tasks listed in the detail below. The employee will have the responsibility to design and modify products. The design drawings will be done using SOLIDWORKS. Will need to work with manufacturing and Sales as needed. May be responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design new and modify existing products of various types as assigned by supervisor.
Create make and stock list and Bill of Material for each job engineered.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete any necessary forms such as job revision reports, modified Bill of Material forms, Production Engineering Information Request forms, and any others.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: BS degree with 3+ years of work experience including experience in SOLIDWORKS 2020 preferred. Legible handwriting is necessary as well as having a good basic mathematics background, (including Algebra). Should be able to read and interpret blueprints and have an aptitude to lead more advanced drafting procedures and computer programs. Familiarity with manufacturing processes is required.
Good communication skills, verbal and in writing also required.

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
