Maintenance Technician
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical Engineering background is a must
- Millwright license (or in progress) is a must.
- 1-3 years working as maintenance technician in food and beverage industry.
- Tetra Pak machines experience is a bonus
- Team worker and excellent communication skills.
- English language.
- This job is applicable only if you are able to work FULLTIME in Canada (ONLY valid work permit or PR).
- Must be able to commute to Aurora , Ontario
General Information
- Wage $29/h to $35/h (Canadian dollars) based on experience
- 100% Onsite in Aurora Ontario
- Total of 42 hours a week. Flexibility on morning or night shift, weekdays or weekends is a must
- Extended medical and life insurance2 weeks vacation per year

Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all plant equipment (processing, filling, capping, printing, packaging, conveyor systems, etc.).
- Perform preventative maintenance following standards and schedules as outlined in the PM and TPMS programs (lubrication, adjustment, setting, replacement, cleaning, etc.)
- Assist and work with equipment/machine operators to ensure safe and continuous operation.
- Perform changeovers on different volume and format as required.· Make recommendations and implement improvements to equipment for productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Understand, support, and comply with all company policies, including: Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, and Quality.
- Maintain daily activity log and spare parts consumption.Other duties as required.
