Maintenance Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mechanical Engineering background is a must
  • Millwright license (or in progress) is a must.
  • 1-3 years working as maintenance technician in food and beverage industry.
  • Tetra Pak machines experience is a bonus
  • Team worker and excellent communication skills.
  • English language.
  • This job is applicable only if you are able to work FULLTIME in Canada (ONLY valid work permit or PR).
  • Must be able to commute to Aurora , Ontario

General Information

  • Wage $29/h to $35/h (Canadian dollars) based on experience
  • 100% Onsite in Aurora Ontario
  • Total of 42 hours a week. Flexibility on morning or night shift, weekdays or weekends is a must

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all plant equipment (processing, filling, capping, printing, packaging, conveyor systems, etc.).
  • Perform preventative maintenance following standards and schedules as outlined in the PM and TPMS programs (lubrication, adjustment, setting, replacement, cleaning, etc.)
  • Assist and work with equipment/machine operators to ensure safe and continuous operation.
  • Perform changeovers on different volume and format as required.· Make recommendations and implement improvements to equipment for productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Understand, support, and comply with all company policies, including: Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, and Quality.
  • Maintain daily activity log and spare parts consumption.Other duties as required.
