To be successful for this role, you will be enthusiastic about digital/operational changes and software development with previous experience in process improvement initiatives. You will be self-driven with the ability to plan and organise your own work, driving deliverables and change.
As a Production Interface Specialist, you will need to be able to communicate and deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders and therefore you will have exceptional written and verbal communication.

Ideally you will also have:

  • 12 months experience in an operations role
  • experience in JIRA/Confluence/Salesforce
  • proficiency in standard Microsoft suites – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • lean 6sixma Yellow Belt certified

Responsibilities:

Internal title is Production Interface Specialist.
Bluecurrent (formerly Vector Metering) is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.
We have an opportunity for Production Interface Specialist to join our supportive and collaborative team. In this role, you will be the interface between Operations and Digital production systems / platforms. You will have the exciting opportunity to perform the business testing processes (User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT) ensuring that all project initiatives have a successful outcome to stakeholders and business owners. UAT is the final step in the development of a project and tests that the changes work as expected for end users and their business processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Define the test plan to ensure that the relevant tests are undertaken to accept the proposed change is working as expected for the users
  • Ensures the test plan is of the best approach within business context and has the best coverage for the developed change.
  • Identification and coordination of resources to define and run the UAT and BVT test scripts.
  • Acceptance of all changes and code deployed into UAT/BVT test systems
  • Feedback bugs and defects to project delivery team
  • Provide reporting and analysis on defects raised in UAT so that the data can be used for continuous improvements in the business
