FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven senior Operations Management experience, gained in a fast paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in packaging is an advantage but not a pre-requisite for the role
- Experience of successfully managing significant change / transformation projects within a manufacturing environment.
- First-hand experience of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
- Degree in a Science, Technology or Engineering subject preferred.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The AF Sligo site is an integral part of our Healthcare Business Unit. The HC Business Unit of Amcor Flexibles EMEA utilises advanced extrusion, coating, printing, laminating and specialist conversion technologies across a number of European sites, supplying a range of flexible packaging products to a distinguished medical & pharma customer base.
The Operations Manager within our Sligo site is responsible for managing Production, Maintenance, OHSE areas and the main priorities will be as follows:
- Safety

- Compliance with company/plant policies and procedures
- Alignment with plant objectives and customer requirements
- Focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service and product quality
- Within Plant Leadership Team, support PGM in the plant management, with a drive for excellence approach.
