Description:

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our current team to manage, develop and steer the site production team in the delivery of an effective and efficient commercial laundry operation in line with business requirements. Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be involved in, amongst other things:
- Leading, developing, and motivating the site production team (Key Ops and Team Leaders), to ensure we have a positive and engaged workforce, including ensuring training has been completed and regular performance reviews are conducted, so as to reach and exceed KPI’s;
- Planning shifts to meet budgets, and handling absences in line with absence policy;
- Maximising the service, cost, and quality performance of the site operations, by continually reviewing performance, and exploring opportunities to improve;
- Introducing and delivering productivity improvements, promoting increased efficiencies, service, and quality performance, in line with KPI and budgetary requirements;
- Liaising with customer services to deal with queries and requests;
- Maintaining standards, including quality, health and safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
You will be required to work on a rotating 4 on 2 off shift rota, which will cover both our early and late shifts, averaging 40 hours per week.
AM - 6:45 am -3:30pm
PM - 3:45pm - 12:30am
The key skills and experience required for this role include:
- Experience in Production, manufacturing, or logistics in a fast-moving, shift-based environment- FMCG is essential;
- Knowledge of change management and lean continuous improvement tools and techniques;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing staff and the ability to motivate others;
- Excellent communication and people skills;
- IT literate;
