Production Manager, Development (1 Year Contract - Maternity Leave)
Reporting to the Director, Creative Operations, the Production Manager, Development is responsible for the oversight and production of all company websites, newsletters and custom web development. If you’ve ever been drawn to a particular website because the UI/UX was compelling, this is the role that makes sure all that great stuff gets made – and delivered!
This position works closely with all internal department stakeholders to ensure all development projects run smoothly from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient, incredibly organized, and able to manage many overlapping tasks. Oh, and a love of code is always a bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Website management of over 26 company websites (including digital publishing, corporate, custom landing pages, marketing for broadcast and FAST channels).
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop product business requirements for new requests.
  • Maintain relationship with third party development agency (Vertical Wave) front and backend developers that develop and maintain our portfolio.
  • Plan and execute custom website projects (including sales hubs, website feature updates/additions, design updates) working closely with our internal design team.
  • Ensure sites are working as expected (liaise with development team when bugs, security or any general issues that arise).
  • Daily maintenance of our project management system (Wrike), communicating timelines to all stakeholders from project request through to material delivery.
  • Work closely with Creative Operations Director to prioritize projects on a daily basis.

What You’ll Bring…

  • A Post-Secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a related field
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of UI/UX and web development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An interest in maintaining and evolving organizational systems
  • A proactive approach with strong follow-up skills

  • Able to manage overlapping, urgent tasks and deadlines
