Industrials Process Equipment in Poca, WV is looking to hire a Production Manager.
This position allows you to apply your skills to a company that makes custom-fabricated material handling equipment. Our products are not “cookie-cutter” products. Each project requires imagination and determination. The successful candidate for this position must be able to make decisions on projects that are not only the best option for the client but most importantly the safest and most cost-effective solution for all parties involved.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 10 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in industrial management, production management, or mechanical engineering is a strong plus.
• Full proficiency in MRP/ERP software for manufacturing operations.
• High computer literacy specifically with Excel and Word.
• Experience in dealing with senior-level management with the ability to relate to all levels of the organization.
• Capable of implementing process and culture change.

• Heip sets manufacturing targets and reviews the targets and the actual performance with the manufacturing team.
• Direct interface with the company’s supply chain network from procurement to shipping and receiving.
• Responsible for assessing department activities and the need for process improvements.
• Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine the need for supplies and the sequence of operations required.
• Responsible for collaborating with Quality Control to institute corrective actions when non-conformances are identified.
• Ensure that all Manufacturing Order paperwork is properly completed.
• Responsible for ensuring that all activities performed within manufacturing are performed safely.
