Envera is a legal entity of Lesaffre located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, US. Envera manufactures bacteria solutions for Lesaffre BUs and different market segments such as wastewater treatment, bioremediation, cleaning solutions and many other areas where bacteria can play a key role.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, production, shipping and receiving.
  • Oversees all aspects of Production Department which includes the Warehouse, as well as daily operations.
  • Delegates to appropriate personnel and supervises the shipments of products. Along with the Production Supervisor, verifies that all required shipment processes are properly completed before leaving the facility.
  • Delegates and supervises the receipt of shipments.
  • Leads and supervises effective inventory controls and availability.
  • Track inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or deadstock
  • Delegates and supervises the training of employees, as well as setting a regular schedule for regular production operations training.
  • Set goals for direct reports and evaluate performance, report performance to HR and management.
  • Supervises and enforces production operations are performed according to SOP, including the use of PPE and GMPs are followed.
  • Promotes a work environment of responsibility and teamwork, following Envera’s mission and vision, as well as safe and high working standards.
  • Oversees warehouse area and placement of raw materials and shipping containers
  • Assist Production Supervisor in maintaining production schedule

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • GMP experience a plus.
    Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises Production Supervisor and employees in Production department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    Environmental, Safety, Quality, and Legal Requirements: Understand and follow all environmental, safety, quality, and legal regulations for the area in which they work.
    Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to accurately count multiple configurations of inventoried product and raw materials.
    Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems.
    Reasoning Ability: Must have strong troubleshooting skills. Must use common sense and solid judgment when making decisions.
