REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with production of physical goods, supply chain management, or procurement is essential, experience in video games or a similarly relevant field is a major plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience required
  • Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to handle various projects in a fast-paced environment and bring projects to timely completion
  • Confidence in communication with partners and collaborations, unafraid of having hard conversations when deadlines aren’t met.
  • Experience with project management software such as Wrike is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with netsuite or similar ERP is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. This may require fine motor skills, sitting or standing for extended periods, typing, and other physical activities associated with a Production Manager.
This is a full time, exempt position with a salary range of $80 - $100k annually DOE. Hours are 9a - 5:30p, Monday - Friday, with occasional work outside of business hours including weekends. The position is hybrid at our offices in Highland Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and facilitate product creation and design elements from concept to prototyping/proofing to delivery of final product to fulfillment warehouse.
  • Manage developers, designers, artists and other creative and logistical contributors to ensure timely delivery of all elements per established production schedule.
  • Collaboration and coordination with distribution and developer partners.
  • Manage existing and establish new vendor relationships as required for product creation.
  • Collect bids/estimates/turn times/MOQs and compare pricing to determine best options for product production based on initial design concept.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director of Product & vendors to determine initial, ongoing and final budgets and schedules for approved products.
  • Create and maintain production budgets and schedules for product delivery, working in tandem with clients and partners to keep all parties informed of their responsibilities and on track with the delivery schedule.
  • Create and submit POs, BOMS, and invoices, audit production invoices, and facilitate communication between vendors and accounting as needed.
  • Communicate production status/updates/upcoming deadlines to the internal team on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of product
  • Facilitate, proof and deliver templated packaging and component files to First Parties and other manufacturing partners, as needed
  • Communicate incoming product details - including specs, shipping info - across necessary internal departments - ensuring a smooth pipeline of delivery
  • Manage release logistics and submission specifics, including first party release management interfaces for Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox platforms, shepherding digital-only games into physical formats
  • Participate in product brainstorms channeling the groundbreaking creative spirit of the iam8bit brand into never-before-seen best in class products.
