Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Production Manager will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end production process for all Nude Lucy product. This role will oversee the production team to achieve optimal margins while maintaining the integrity of the product, quality expectations and scheduled deliveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Driving the production of all product categories from development through to bulk shipment across Nude Lucy Brand.
  • Developing, managing and maintaining critical paths with suppliers and in house team to facilitate timelines for design, development, SMS sampling, sales, pre-production approvals and bulk shipments.
  • Working directly with the Supply Chain Team ensuring on time delivery of all bulk shipments, monitoring freight / transit and ensuring delivery is on schedule.
  • Identifying and resolving any quality and/or delivery issues that may come up throughout production process quickly and efficiently.
  • Managing the PO process – Raising, Issuing and maintaining accurate purchase orders.
  • Implement effective QC & QA processes in coordination with Product Development to maintain impeccable production quality across all products.
  • Working closely with Design team and Garment tech to manage production processes such as factory liaising, bulk fabric & trim approvals, pre-production fit & make comments, care label & barcode creation, packaging etc.
  • Raising & Issuing purchase orders for all ranges.
  • Managing & Negotiating costings to maintain optimal margin with the goal to continually strengthen.
  • Implementing cross costing processes where relevant to achieve best price & quality possible.
  • Driving sustainability & ethical practices in product and processes with suppliers.
  • Ensuring suppliers comply with business standards across social compliance, sustainability and material compliance – managing third party audits where necessary.
  • Continually strengthening and expanding our supply base through Identifying and sourcing new factories / mills that are globally diverse.
