Job Description
An incredible opportunity awaits for a Production Manager to join our Active Ingredient (AI) manufacturing team. This is your chance to progress further your career in a dynamic, challenging environment at a leading upper-tier COMAH site. You will control and elevate operational excellence to new heights. Responsibilities include;
- Day-to-day management of short and medium-term planning for seamless operations.
- Achieve production targets through strategic planning, resource optimization, prioritization, and decisive decision-making.
- Inspire and develop the manufacturing technicians, fostering effective performance and motivation.
- Continuously monitor and enhance EHS standards, providing technical support per Syngenta protocols.
- Facilitate clear and timely cross-departmental communications.
- Swiftly escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Chemical Engineering from an IChemE-accredited program.
- Experience in chemical plant & process operations / Process Engineering background.
- Strong IT proficiency with ability to use and learn variety of software quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all levels, with leadership qualities.
- Automation or software driven plant knowledge/experience is beneficial.
